No, like other sporting events, once you purchase a ticket there are no refunds. Once you enter your information, Highlander Assault orders your shirt, medal, bibs, insurance, and other race day items per racer. You will have the option to transfer your entry to another racer for a small transfer fee if you can not attend.

There is a parking fee paid to the owner of the property usually $10 cash upon arrival per vehicle. Due to limited parking, this encourages racers to carpool.

Yes, you can check a bag in a secure holding area for $5.

For Highlander Assault, due to the amount of mud, we do offer a clean off station. Other races usually do not include extreme mud.

Yes. If you volunteer for four hours you can immediately register and run following your volunteer time. If you wish to volunteer after you run, you may sign an agreement to be charged for the race if you do not volunteer. You will have to leave a driver license or credit card at the check in which will be returned after volunteering.

Absolutely! In 2026 we will be giving out a gear pack to all full day volunteers for their help.

Yes this is the only exception to switch race heats.

Only competitive heats are required to complete all obstacles. Open heat runners we just ask that you attempt the obstacle, but you are permitted to skip obstacles if necessary.
