Yes, there are price increases throughout the year as we approach the event, signing up early can save you an extra 25%+ on race fees.

How do Highlander Assault prices compare to other race events?

Highlander Assault wants everyone to experience our event. We keep our prices lower with our race day registration prices being $30-$75 less than other events.

Are there any hidden fees?

Along with the race entry fee, participants will also pay a small registration processing fee to the registration company.

Does Highlander Assault offer refunds?

Accepted Answer

No, like other sporting events, once you purchase a ticket there are no refunds. Once you enter your information, Highlander Assault orders your shirt, medal, bibs, insurance, and other race day items per racer. You will have the option to transfer your entry to another racer for a small transfer fee if you can not attend.

Is there a parking fee?

There is no parking fee at Goebbert's Farm. They do charge a spectator fee for over 3 years old due to all of the amentities on property.

Is there a bag check?

Yes, you can check a bag in a secure holding area for $5.

For Highlander Assault, due to the amount of mud, we do offer a clean off station if available.

Yes, we do offer food options. Goebbert's Farm offers a variety of food options and a full bar.

No, but we can advise on accommodations for event if needed.

Can I volunteer and race the same day?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you volunteer for four hours you can immediately register and run following your volunteer time. If you wish to volunteer after you run, you may sign an agreement to be charged for the race if you do not volunteer. You will have to leave a driver license or credit card at the check in which will be returned after volunteering.

Can I volunteer all day?

Absolutely! In 2026 we will be giving out merchandise credits or a future race to all full day volunteers for their help.

If I join a race team and their heat if filed, can I still run with them?

Yes this is the only exception to switch race heats.

Do I have to complete all of the obstacles?

Accepted Answer

Only competitive heats are required to complete all obstacles. Open heat runners we just ask that you attempt the obstacle, but you are permitted to skip obstacles if necessary.

Can I bring my pet?

Because there is livestock at the farm, no pets are permitted other than those who are certified service animals.
